The BJMP Caraga Regional Director, stood alongside esteemed guests in a momentous event at the Butuan City Jail-Male Dormitory.
The occasion marked the Graduation of 10 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) from the Katatagan, Kalusugan, at Damayan ng Kumonidad (KKDK) Program.
In attendance were Hon. Judge Isah Echem-Tangonan, Executive Judge of RTC Branch 33, Director Charlene R. Magdurulang, MPA, Regional Director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Ms. Serapie Victoria L. Kimilat, MD, DPPS, OIC-Medical Center, Butuan City, as well as Hon. Vincent Rizal C. Rosario, Barangay Chairman, and Brgy. Kagawad Hon. Salvador Misanes, Brgy. Libertad, Butuan City.
During the ceremony, JSSUPT EBORA delivered a heartfelt message, emphasizing the importance of not reverting to illegal drug use upon reintegration. Providing inspiration for the PDL to champion a healthy and happy life, free from the detrimental effects of illegal drug use.
The KKDK Program signifies resilience, health, and community support, paving the way for the successful transformation of PDL with drug-related cases. These individuals have evolved from the influence of illegal drugs into renewed, knowledgeable, and committed advocates for a drug-free community.
